Elegant, gallant, fast and yet at heart a hard-working Lunenburg fishing schooner, Bluenose caught the hearts and imagination of countless people around the world during its quarter century on the seas. For many, Bluenose came to embody in wood and sail the spirit of the Maritimes itself.
