Nana's Quilt is the story of Allie and her grandmother, who spend a
summer exploring the city of St. John's. They visit six tourist attractions
that make the city unique, and begin to make a quilt that illustrates wach
place. By summer's end Allie appreciates the beauty and history of her city.
The completed quilt is a lasting memory of her time with Nana.
All of the artwork for this book was produced, in conjunction with local
artists, by the children of Hazelwood Elementary school in St. John's,
Newfoundland, where Lori Lane and Kathy Winsor teach Grade one.
